Crafting is a gameplay mechanic featured in The Last of Us, Left Behind, Factions MP, and in The Last of Us Part II. It allows the player to create items from simple supplies. For example, in both games, a Health Kit can be crafted from Alcohol and Rags. To craft an item from scavenged materials, the player must have the required ingredients, open their backpack, and perform the craft.
